"I got you an NFT for Christmas" Edition
I’m literally writing this on Christmas day! I’ve snuck off to the toilet to do some writing while Kieks and my parents yap about who knows what. Just to paint a picture of how things are going here, I put on one of those “Endless Lofi Christmas Music” videos for background noise and the parents got outraged 15 minutes in that the video was just a loop.

Yes that’s literally the point! Nailed it!
Anyway, it seems like things are relatively quiet on the AVAX front these days. I thought about skipping this week but I know that everyone will give me shit for it, so instead let’s try and speedrun the news.
Bears and Salmon Holds Strong
I’ve actually been pretty impressed with the strength of Bears and Salmon as we move two weeks from launch. Presalers are still up around 5x so there’s not much to complain about. That won’t stop people from complaining though—I’m sure many are still dancing on its grave, laughing about how right they were.
I won’t talk about them here! It’s the holidays, let’s be positive!
Anyway, the team has announced their “Bears Den” will be starting next week. Contestants will pitch games that make use of the $BANDS token in exchange for funding. They have some pretty high profile judges, so at the very least it should be entertaining. Hopefully we get some new ponzis out of this.
Presale Token NFT SZN
Merry Ketmas! The KET team decided to stealth launch PFPs for orb holders today. I love it when projects do shit like this. Clearly they’re not making money on this and it’s just to give supporters a little gift.
A lot of the appeal of KET from the beginning has been the team and their willingness to experiment, so yeah this is right up my alley. Props to them for coming through on something that they really didn’t need to do at all. Warms my heart!
BLUB then went on to announce that Blubzukis are coming the day after! More free (I assume) stuff for Blublievers! Again, I think it’s really cool that these teams are pushing stuff out. They could definitely have abandoned these NFTs and nobody would really notice.

Capy Presale Nears Completion
For all the DWS haters in the chat, this is your moment! Finally a launch with no Deep Waitor Studio involvement!
I’ll be honest I haven’t had a ton of time to follow this one closely, but it seems like they have a game or something and are more developed than just a memecoin. Personally, as you might have gleaned from reading this article, I don’t spend much time on Arena so this launch has mostly gone over my head.
The only thing I really know about it is that the presale market cap is around $900k, which seems a bit high to me! It scared me away at first, but then some people convinced me to split an allocation with them so I’ve got skin in the game now.
This is the big chance for the chain to show how nefarious and bad DWS is, and how great the French are. I look forward to the launch. Bonne chance !
That’s all I’ve got for this week! The final Avalore of 2025! I thought about doing some kind of “2025 Wrapped” article but there’s been no time. Touching grass, or something like that.
