AVAX Lore Dump Week 11
"We're so back" Edition
We are so mfing BACK baby! AVAX Twitter vibes have bounced back since the flash crash had many of us contemplating our life choices last week. Last week! Time really flies, crazy. Trump continues to be on his bullshit (thanks Wrath) so price remains suppressed, but positivity is spreading and fun things are happening. That’s all a guy like me could ever ask for! Let’s do the news.
CT Loses Touch with Reality
Do people actually believe 100k is not life changing? Is this serious????
Just for reference, the median net worth of a 30-35 year old in the USA is around $70k. We’re really going to say that more than doubling someone’s net worth is not life changing???

Just a truly insane position to take, in my opinion. But what do I know! I don’t have as much money as these guys. I’m basically broke—stuck in 7-8 figure hell!
Brando has returned to Twitter with a ridiculous take of his own. Welcome back! If you liked “100k isn’t life-changing money,” you’re really going to love “$1M-$10M is hell!”
My read on this is that he’s finally blown through his funds from Dokyo (probably around $3M, the dreaded 7-8 figure hell zone) and is returning to CT to wax poetic and gear up for some more income streams. Lifestyle inflation! Nothing he could do!
Just as a thought exercise, I’d love for everyone reading this article to go and find a friend who’s not in crypto—maybe someone you went to school with, maybe a coworker—and tell them you’re in “7-8 figure hell.” See what their response is. Let me know in the comments!
Yashtin Goes to Sol
You may remember Yashtin from grifting for presale spots during Blub/Wink season or launching multiple rugged tokens/NFTs, but he’s gone to Solana now!
I’ve seen a sense of “how did we let him get away” from AVAX CT, but I don’t really understand it. Yes the Solana account interacted with him and he became a talking point for a day, but that happened here too. The Solana coin based on his video is at $5k MCAP. I guess it just doesn’t seem like we’re missing much?
If someone else made AVAX music videos I think it would get support. It’s just that AVAX people specifically don’t like Yashtin since they’ve already been scammed by him and watched him masturbating on camera. Shocking!
Points Szn
Points have been sweeping the timeline! Nobs and Excel have started commenting under people’s posts awarding them “points.” Nobody knows what the points mean or if they do anything, but they’re provocative. They get the people going.
It’s done a tremendous job rallying the chain and giving us all something to talk about. As a lore historian and shitposter, I love having things to write about and I don’t care if they’re real or not. However, Nobs has posted screenshots from a very real looking vibe-coded dashboard.
I’ve taken an anti-infoFi stance in this article many times, and although this is technically infoFi, I believe the fact that the points are given out by actual humans can make this worthwhile. It should stop the botted accounts from taking over the top spots with fake impressions.
There are of course questions about scalability—Excel and Nobs have their hands full with all these mentions. Have no fear! They’ve added some incredibly smart and good looking people to the list of distributors in order to help ease the load! They’ve also added Wrath for some reason.
I woke up to about 150 notifications after this, so I now understand the full impact this points system is having. It’s skewed a bit too far towards begging for points now that it’s gotten so popular, but I look forward to seeing how this progresses over time.
At the very least, it’s given people something to post about and that’s a win in my book.
Ava Labs Does an AMA
Voh, AVAX’s newest public facing employee (sorry I have no idea what her actual title is), recently hosted an AMA with Luigi and Nahas. I think this was a really cool initiative as communication is always bullish, and I’m sad I couldn’t make it.
I listened to the recording so you don’t have to! You’re welcome! There were interesting topics hidden amongst the yapping from some Hatchyverse guy about planting trees in a desert. I mainly want to focus on what Luigi/Nahas talked about as they were the real stars of the show.
The first point was about how hard it is for Labs/FDN to do their job. They get criticized if they spend money, they get criticized if they don’t—it can be tough. They stressed that the Foundation shouldn’t be “saving” us and things should be more community led. I sympathize with this problem, and they definitely have a tall task. As Giraffe mentioned on twitter, they have to constantly deal with complaining from people who shouldn’t be getting support anyway.
In my opinion, the main goal of the Foundation should be boosting things that already have support. Any time something gets organic traction in the community, they should amplify it to build a community of winners. For example, their backing of KET and COQ were great strategic moves since the community was already behind it. Imagine the hype if they actually allocated an airdrop for these AVAX points?? If they were to even put the budget from one day of $LAMBO buys towards points rewards, it could go a really long way.
The next interesting topic from the space was about the “lack of degen culture.”
A lot of the blame is placed on the community here, but I don’t think that’s fair. As I wrote about way back in the week 1 article, AVAX messaging and support has been geared around tech/institutions FOREVER. Of course this doesn’t attract degens!
Someone went on to say “well we don’t have many builders on AVAX” which I also don’t agree with. Yes the amount of devs is lower than on Solana, but I’d say we have quite a high builder/user ratio (some would say too high) and I really don’t think that’s the issue.
The ONLY thing people care about when chain hopping is making money, so first we need to build a culture here of making money on simple degen things (coins, mostly) before we can sustain projects.
There have been attempts at onboarding user-facing “meta” projects (prediction markets, ohm forks, football.fun copies, etc etc) but the demand just isn’t there yet, and the products are not always high quality.
That’s all the news for this week! It was a busy one, I even had to cut some topics! The AVAX creator program ended, Blaze still doesn’t have a platform, blah blah blah. Too much yapping.
Speaking of yapping, we’re going to try to start doing a space after the Dump goes live. Likely on Monday, but this is not finalized. It will be a NO YAPPING space, and we will not be afraid to mute people. Except for me, I’m allowed to yap. It’s my space! See you there (maybe).

Man, some weeks feel like a year. Amazing how much can happen.
Another good one, Smitty, man!
Wow reading this really passed the time in 7-8 figure hell!
